What if LIFE is MONOTONOUS? What would you do? Would you just continue or are brave enough to break the chain? Would you do something different or would you just  run around in circles…..Well, I’ll just keep on running……..and running…………..and running……

What is CONNECTION?

It might be the unexplained emotions experienced by 2 individuals, animals or any living creature. One perfect example would be the connection between a mother to her child especially right after birth. No matter how painful childbearing would give to a mother, the feeling after is usually priceless and irreplaceable.

It might also be the mechanism which people, especially teenagers nowadays,  require for communication, business and even leisure. Yahoo, Google and Facebook have become the bestfriend of almost everybody from the CEO of the company conducting seminar online to a student learning knowledge through surfing.  For me, it’s the most accessible way to interact with your distant loved ones whether they are just across the country or continent.

But what alarms me is the connection which exists when finding a job is concern. Parents have worked and even sacrificed their time, efforts and lives for their children to have a good education. Some children are ignorant of these things but a number have understood these quite well. Dealing with the latter, they have studied to the best of their ability and graduated (some with flying colors). Now, the stage of employment sets in and connection as well. Without the latter, one would have a hard time to enter this stage which would leave them underemployed if fortunate and unemployed if not. Lucky for those who have these “connections” for they shall have the position that they desire. 

In addition to this, people who have found nothing in this country tend to look outside the box for greener and wider pasteur. They tend to consult agencies, families living in outside the country and even a foreigner fiance to escape what this country had to offer. Some promises are meant to be broken. The Promise Land might not be the place we have in mind since some might be exploited in the process. Some might risk it all NOT because they have nothing to lose but because they have nothing at all in the first place. 

All is fair in LOVE and WAR but not in LIFE.

It’s when the night is at its DEEPEST, the MOON shines the BRIGHTEST. :)

FIRSTS. 1st kiss, 1st love, 1st camera, 1st award„„, With all these FIRSTS, I’m thankful that I received another 1st again TODAY…..that is my FIRST PAY. Despite thinking how will I spend it, I decided to give everything to my papa and mama. Though small, I’m still thankful. The fact that I received my salary means that I have a work and it had paid off. :D THANK YOU LORD :D

Walking-Distance-Mall. When I was still a kid, Divisoria Mall was my mall. In every floor, I know where to buy things and stuff that I need. Then emerges 168. It was the best place when shopping for the cheapest things is concern. Then came 999 Mall, Meisic Mall and 999 Mall. Whew„„speaking of tiangge. They are like Nursing school - sprouting like mushrooms (let’s include Chinese people from mainland China as well). AND…………..just yesterday, Lucky Chinatown Mall opened catering to all - from the mass to the class. Who am I not to visit this Mall. I’m still overwhelmed with its ambiance. It’s like Trinoma but only nearer - I mean A LOT NEARER like 15mins walk or 5 mins trike… What excites me are the restos and stores that are soon to be opened - Sambokujin, Maldita, Aldo, Tao Yuan and more….  They also have movies and mimes. I wish they would have wifi soon and more restrooms since I had a hard time finding one a while ago… Good thing the urinary bladder can hold up to 400 ml of urine :) Anyways„„if you have time, visit the newest mall in the METRO - LUCKY CHINATOWN MALL.  :P

A good FRIEND is cheaper than THERAPY. With my schedule (10PM - 6AM from Wednesday to Monday) at work, I neglected time with my friends during dinner out and early morning workout. I can’t help to miss those moments - those late night happy lemon with my lakad buddies, dinner at Tomas Morato with my best buds, dimsum or yogurt with the Chinese community  - TO NAME A FEW. I’m not complaining, I just missed those times……. end of emo-ness :)

MORTALITY - After 10-6 AM shift from work, I immediately attended the MASS in our nearby place. Despite of the sleepiness and tiresome night/day, I gave extra effort to listen to the Gospel and wait for the priest to put ash on my forehead. It is my way as a CATHOLIC to spend this special day for HIM. Many have forgotten that today is ASH WEDNESDAY. May those who attended the 6AM Mass remind the people (upon seeing them with ash on their forehead) that despite their busy schedule, we must find time (at least one hour of our precious time today) for God. And also, please observe fasting today. If the Muslim observe NPO from sunrise to sunset (they can’t even swallow their saliva), why can’t Christians observe simple fasting from meat just today. God Bless us all.

Fountains and Fireworks completed my SUNDAY. :) Of course, I did went to Mass and ______ :D
